March 22 Early Rehearsal For Hostesses and USO Workers

This is from the comments (from Lindsey) - I'm bumping it up here so it will have a better chance of being read
-CLS

Alrighty, now it's time to get down to business ;) I talked to Mrs. Conto about practicing the beginning of Don't Say No to the U.S.O next week AT THE CHURCH at 11:30 a.m. before heading over to the high school and she said it's a go!

If you are a hostess or U.S.O. worker who dances in the beginning of this song, please be there so we can get it down pat. The High School is within walking distance of the church an I'm pretty sure I'll be walking if anyone wants a strolling buddy when we're done and ready to head to the school.

Please respond to this message by Tuesday so I know you got the info and I don't have to play phone tag all week ;) And if you don't, I just might have to call you or track you down- be forewarned! I already talked to Georgi, Elena and Sloane and I'm pretty sure Maria won't be able to come, so everyone else, will this work for you? Thanks :)

Lindsey, do you need Emma for this? She can be there early and can use the scooter to get over to the HS (if it's not raining). If the weather is bad, maybe I can drive over and pick you all up.

Thanks, Mrs. Steuwer!

I don't it's neccesary that Emma comes early; I re-watched the video and she seems to have it down pretty good. But if she wants the extra practice, then sure! C' mon down! And thanks fo being our back-up driver in case the weather is disagreeable :)

Thanks, Naomi! Gottcha down :)

Due to the school not wanting people to "run around outside", I'll take as many kids that will fit into my van. Besides, you want to fit in as much practice time when you have it, not waste it on walking.

We'll be there, btw.

Yes Lindsey, you are right! I do have school and won't be able to make the early practice. Sorry!

Thanks, Carys. That's a good point that we would waste a lot of time walking- Cheyrl just brought that up to me today. So, please, everyone have a ride to the HS. A lot of moms are willing to pile in extra kids and there's also room for two more in my car. I'm figuring we can practice until 11:45/ 11:50ish, then drive over. Thanks, everyone!

I just realized that I won't have room in my mini-van. My husband is out of town, so I need to bring all four kids this week. I'm also bringing the keyboard in case a piano isn't accessible. Of course, Emma's scooter will be in the back. Sorry to back out of driving others! I'm glad Mrs. Cary has volunteered her van!

I'm sure that'll be fine, we'll manage with the open seats we have :)
