We'll Meet Again Vocals

Before I get into things...the Bergmann family's script has likely made its way into someone else's folder.  If you find it, can you let the Bergmanns or me know?  Thanks!

This post is for: Sloane, Angela, Elisabeth M, Bailey, Bethany, Hannah B, Sarah B, Lydia H, Maddi, Ellen, Emma, Annie, Hannah H, Maria F, Elizabeth C, Marie K, Naomi, Laura, Macy, Katherine, Savanna, Brittney, Erica, Meridian, Addie, Grace, Caroline, Lydia G, Lydia B, Megan, Mary, Christian, Jordan, Israel, Brendan, James, Michael, Peter, Joshua, Steven, Seth, Isaiah, and Gabe.

This song is on pages 47-48 in your script.  Page 47 only has Bailey's solo.  The top of page 48 (shown here) is where Bethany, Hannah B, and Sarah B join in.  Everyone starts in where it says, "GLADYS/VALERIE/MELBA/CLUB ENSEMBLE: (Sing.)"

I've written a backslash ( / ) everywhere I'd like for you to take a breath.  The red circle-slash with a B inside means: NO BREATH.  Where there is a blue circle with BB inside, that means: BIG BREATH.  Of course, you may always sneak breaths when you need to.  I don't want anyone fainting on me!

Bailey, you can do your own phrasing.  Your solo is quite different from the rest of the song.

The last word ("you") breaks out into three part harmony.  We're actually going to be singing six different notes since some of the guys will be singing an octave below the others.  It's going to sound full and rich and be-yoo-tiful!  I can't wait!

So, here are six videos.  The first three are the high, middle, and low notes in the regular octave (for the ladies and younger boys whose voices may not have changed yet).  The second set of three are the high, middle, and low notes played an octave lower for our manly men.  I've also included the Guys' solo, "And I promise someday, I'll come home to stay," in the second set of videos.

(The Harmony Brothers will not be singing that line since they're too young to be servicemen.  Michael, I'll give you the choice of whether you'd like to sing that line or not.)

***Everyone, please come prepared on February 9th with your 1st and 2nd choice for top, middle, or low note.  Thank you.***

High Note ~ Regular Octave

Middle Note ~ Regular Octave

Low Note ~ Regular Octave

High Note ~ Octave Lower

Middle Note ~ Octave Lower

Low Note ~ Octave Lower

In case you'd like the names of the notes, they are as follows for the words, "I'll be wait-ing for you."

                             D (top note)
E   F   F#  C   B   B  (middle note)
                             G (bottom note)
