Low & Middle Parts

For the low (tenor) part on "Together We Must Stand":

 G      G       A       D           D     F#      G
We   are   the   land----   of    the   free-----!

For the low (tenor) part on "Don't Say No to the USO":

 B        C#      D       D    C#  C#  A
And   the   good   ol'    U    S    O !

Some of you young men may want to sing an octave below what everyone else is doing.  That "D" gets pretty high.

For the middle (alto) part on "Together We Must Stand":

 G     G      A    G           G    A      B
We  are  the  land---  of   the   free----!

The "G" which you sing on the word "of" might be the trickiest.  The sopranos (high part) are singing an "A" there, which is the next note up.  If you simply remember to stay on the same note from "land", then you'll get it.  Easy-peasy, right?  ; )

For the middle (alto) part on "Don't Say No to the USO":

  B      C#     D      D   C#  C#  C#
And  the  good  ol'   U    S   O !

This one's not too tough.  Just stay on the same note at the end there.

Now, you might be looking at those letters and thinking, "Uhhh...that means absolutely nothing to me."  Well, never fear!  I'm going to do something special for you.  I'll make some videos of these lines of music so you can watch them right here and sing along.  I'm not the most technologically savvy person in the world, so it might take me a day or two to figure it out, but I shall do my best!

(I hope you sopranos aren't feeling left out in this post, but I feel like your part is pretty easy to hear on the CD.)
